ACACIA – finger-jointed panels (A/A, A/B, A/C, B/B, B/C, C/C)

ACACIA – finger-jointed panels A/A

A Side:

  • staves with matching wood structure (the same grain pattern on the whole side of the panel)
  • staves with matching color (no discoloration allowed)
  • Only small, healthy knots permitted (up to 5 mm in diameter and only 1 knot/m2)
  • No sapwood, cracks, rot, wormholes or other defects (whether caused naturally or due to the bad drying)
  • No technical faults

ACACIA – finger-jointed panels A/B

B Side:

  • staves with matching wood structure (the same grain pattern on the whole side of the panel)
  • Colour may be slightly uneven
  • Only small, healthy knots permitted (up to 5 mm in diameter and only 1 knot/m2)
  • sapwood traces, that are not going through to the opposite side of the panel, are allowed (sapwood allowed on 15-20% of the B-surface of the whole panel) – no sapwood on the panel edges
  • No cracks, rot, wormholes or other defects (whether caused naturally or due to the bad drying)
  • No technical faults

ACACIA – finger-jointed panels A/C

C Side:

  • No requirements on the structure of wood
  • Colour may be slightly uneven
  • Small, healthy knots permitted (up to 5 mm in diameter, unlimited; up to 20 mm in diameter and 3 knots/m2)
  • No limits on sapwood
  • No cracks, rot, wormholes or other defects (whether caused naturally or due to the bad drying)
  • No technical faults

ACACIA – finger-jointed panels B/B
